The Pan-European technology distributor has taken 8,750 sq. ft. of space at Chineham Park in Basingstoke, consolidating its teams from its previous Basingstoke and Newbury locations

Frasers Property UK has secured Milexia UK, a Pan-European telecommunications and technology distributor, for a new 8,750 sq. ft. 10-year lease at the award-winning Chineham Park in Basingstoke, Hampshire.

Milexia UK provides high technology solutions in electronic components, timing systems and satellite and broadcast communications. It supports businesses with engineering design and maintenance and will be consolidating its finance, operations, sales and marketing and engineering teams within the new space, from three separate locations previously.

Karen Hayden, Divisional Head, Operations at Milexia UK said: “Chineham Park offers so much in the way of community. In addition to its green spaces and sustainability credentials, its emphasis on ‘community’ was a big deal to us. We wanted to find a location that meant our teams really look forward to coming into work and offers them a balance of a great working environment, and space to interact and collaborate with others.”

Glenn Toal, Divisional Head, Sales & Marketing at Milexia UK said: “We are very much a forward-thinking company and the diversity of the workspaces and amenities at Chineham Park aligned with our core values. The new space at 3 Hazelwood offers us a new vehicle to drive forward our plans for the future, bringing all our teams together under one roof to better collaborate and add value to our business partners.”

Chineham Park, which is owned and managed by Frasers Property UK, is a high-quality 815,000 sq. ft. mixed-use business park, with a wide range of first-class buildings and amenities including an on-site gym, cafe and nursery, surrounded by ample open green spaces that present the perfect opportunity for welcoming wildlife and ecology to better benefit occupiers, the local community, and the planet.

Frasers Property’s efforts to build a thriving business community at Chineham Park with well-being a key focus along with strong transport infrastructure has enabled the park to attract notable brands such as Conair, TurtleBeach, InstaVolt and TD Synnex to its premises. The park provides agile workspaces for today’s diverse workforce, complemented with expansive outdoor and green spaces that supports tenants and occupiers’ well-being.

Chineham Park is known for its commitment to health and well-being and has an award-winning landscaped exterior. The park has achieved a 2-star Fitwel rating, Green Flag Award and Green Apple Awards. Chineham Park is also one of only four business parks in the UK to be awarded the Wildlife Trust’s Sustainability Benchmark.

Karen added: “Last year, Milexia UK obtained a Silver EcoVadis Sustainability Rating, placing us among the top 25% of companies assessed by EcoVadis, so finding a space that had a strong focus on the environment was hugely important. We’d looked at a few different business parks and locations in the region and nothing compared to the green spaces and sustainability credentials at Chineham Park, so the decision was a no brainer!”

Chris Stevens, Senior Asset Manager at Fraser Property UK said: “At Frasers Property UK, our high-quality spaces are designed to cater to future ways of working and enhance daily life, enabling our occupiers to grow and flourish. Milexia UK’s goal of creating a sense of community while maintaining sustainability at the forefront of its investment for the future aligns strongly with our mission here at Chineham Park. We look forward to welcoming them as an occupier.”
