The Twilight Runway Challenge is the Community Matters Partnership Project (CMPP) flagship fundraising event of the year and the team at Chineham Park want you to join us!
It is a fun event which takes place along the airstrip at Blackbushe Airport once the flights have stopped landing.
How to take part
You can run for fun or challenge yourself to complete the runway challenge as quickly as possible. If you don’t fancy running, then you can walk, cycle, skateboard, rollerblade or scoot. One year someone even completed the event on a unicycle!
Challengers can enter the 3k or 5k routes or you can complete 10k by doing the 5k circuit twice. Walkers will only be able to enter the 3k or 5k.
Everyone taking part will receive a goodie bag and a finisher’s medal.
Get involved
Frasers Property is kindly paying for the Chineham Park team to enter. The team is then fundraising on behalf of Sebastian’s Action Trust, their chosen park charity. They provide emotional, social and practical care for life-limited and life-threatened children and their families. They also offer family respite care at their flagship facility, The Bluebells, together with outreach and specialist support at their second centre. The aim is to reduce isolation, providing meaningful support and building resilience to help families face the uncertainties of the future.
