It’s the time of year when we really focus our attention on giving back to our park charities and have one last push to raise money for the amazing contribution they make to our surrounding communities.
Last year, we raised £3,639 for Sebastian Action Trust, and this year we’re hoping to beat that amount from donations collected from community events such as our Summer Basket Workshop and Park Bake.
With donations from our FREE Wreath-Making Workshops yet to added, we’re looking foward to seeing how much more we add to our total amount. Additionally, we’re asking all our stallholders from our indoor Alpine Christmas Market on December 4 to make a minimum donation which will go directly to the Sebastian Action Trust.
It’s not all about fundraising though. As a team across all our business parks we’re committed to making a difference, creating both a social and economic impact in the communities we operate in, giving back nearly 80 hours of volunteering time in 2024.
If you’re unfamiliar with Sebastian’s Action Trust, here are five quick facts about their work:
1. They provide dedicated support to families of children with life-threatening or terminal conditions.
2. Their specially designed holiday home offers respite for families during difficult times.
3. The charity provides advocacy, counselling, and financial support to families in need.
4. Their work aims to create happy memories, even in challenging circumstances.
5. They rely entirely on donations and community-driven fundraising.
And don’t forget our Christmas Giving Tree Appeal, where we will also be collecting for the charity from November 25. Just one small gift will mean a lot to people in need.
So, please join us for some festive fun, be generous, show us your Christmas spirit and help make this year’s contribution to our charities our best yet!
